French designer Simon Porte Jacquemus, the creative mastermind behind the brand Jacquemus, has quickly developed a cult following comprised of fashion fan girls and celeb style stars thanks to his ultra-chic Parisian signature knits and playful accessories.

The Instagram-savvy designer’s most popular pieces, like his oversized sun hats and itsy-bitsy bags, have garnered endless likes and reposts on the ‘gram. You’ve most likely have seen his popular Le Chiquito bag dangling off the arms of famous it girls like Emily Ratakowjski, Kendall Jenner, Olivia Culpo and Hailey Bieber. Since debuting the now iconic bag in his Spring/Summer 2018 collection, the trendy tote has acted as a launchpad for the ever-growing tiny handbag trend.

Despite its small scale – measuring in at 3.5 x 4.75 x 2.25 inches – the Le Chiquito bag’s hefty $415 price tag is proof that good things come in small packages.

For fall 2019, the designer takes the tiny bag trend to even tinier and trendier proportions with a microscopic version of his covetable teeny-weeny cult classic.

Measuring at just 3.35 x 2 inches, the Le Petit Chiquito looks more like a keychain than a handbag. Despite its small stature, the leather micro mini bag has a single top handle, thin shoulder strap and a downsized version of the brand’s signature “J” emblem.
